Projects of interest include pediatric and adult scoliosis, kyphosis, spine trauma, osteoporosis, spondylolisthesis, degenerative disk disease and work related back injuries.

Physician Education

research-iconThe Sonoran Spine Center offers visiting spine surgeons the opportunity to observe surgeries from our ongoing case load, choosing which techniques they would like to see. We also offer observation opportunities to visiting medical students and residents to participate in clinical observation, observation in surgery, and participation in clinical research on diseases of the spine.

Fellowship Program

Our spine surgery fellowship match offers the opportunity for tertiary spinal deformity and spinal reconstructive surgery training for physicians who have completed a full residency in either orthopedic surgery or neuro surgery.

Seminars & Classes

We also host and sponsor education seminars and classes about topics from spine problems to managing arthritis pain.

We are dedicated to improving techniques for correcting spinal deformity for people who suffer from severe scoliosis and kyphosis, as well as for treating problems like spondylolisthesis.

Clinical spine research studies are fundamental to our mission. We are conducting several clinical studies at this time. Click here for a full list of our research studies
